Introduction to environmental chemistry and relevant biological processes; environmental measurements; contaminant partitioning and transport process in air, soil, surface water and groundwater; human health risk assessment; urban water requirements and standards; introduction to water treatment, solid waste management, life cycle assessment and introduction to carbon markets.
