Random variables and sampling distributions; estimation and hypothesis testing; concepts of central tendency, variability, confidence level; correlation, regression and variation analysis; robust estimation; experiments of evaluation; experiments of comparison; factorial experiments (analysis of variance); experimental designs (involving randomization, replication, blocking and analysis of covariance).
