Description

An advanced study of health in a social context. Examines the social determinants of health and illness outcomes along with their implications for public policies conducive to better health.

Prerequisite(s): Sociology 313, 321, 331, 333.

Courses may consist of a Lecture, Lab, Tutorial, and/or Seminar. Students will be required to register in each component that is required for the course as indicated in the schedule of classes.
