Description
Introduction to discrete models of mathematical biology, including difference equations, models of population dynamics and the like. Topics include stability of models describe by difference equations, continuous spatially homogeneous processes and spatially distributed models.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to a graduate program in Mathematics and Statistics or consent of the Department.
