Description
An introduction to the formal, historical, and social aspects of comics (comic strips, comic books, and graphic novels). Topics to be examined include the historical development of the comic form; formal analysis of the properties of comics; and the significance of comics in the contemporary media landscape.
Antirequisite(s): Credit for English 322 and 388.04 will not be allowed.
