Description

An exploration of the ways in which scientific information plays a role when governments debate and implement policies related to health, the environment and industry. An examination of these questions surrounding the interface between science and politics through readings from the sociology of science and by discussing contemporary examples.

Prerequisite(s): Second-year or higher standing in the BHSc Honours program.
