Description
An introduction to digital representation and the use of computer modeling for planning and design. Professional CAD, rendering applications and image editing/creation software will be used to explore technical aspects and the aesthetic of design. Emphasis is given to developing sensitivity to the application appropriate to communicating bi- and three-dimensional urban and natural form using computer-generated images. Includes training on physical model making using computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
Corequisite(s): Planning 606.
Antirequisite(s): Credit for Planning 602 and Environmental Design Planning 602 will not be allowed.
