Description
An introduction to the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in urban planning, landscape design, and environmental analysis. Develops skills in visualizing and analyzing demographic, socio-economic, land use and environmental data sets. Emphasis is given to developing sensitivity to the application appropriate for specific GIS problems, supporting planning and design at multiple scales.
Antirequisite(s): Credit for Planning 608 and Environmental Design Planning 611 will not be allowed.
