Classes of inorganic and polymeric materials and their applications, crystal structure determination, defects and material properties, characterization tools for materials engineers, materials selection strategies in equipment design, use of material selection databases and software.
Prerequisite(s): Engineering 202, Engineering 204, and Mathematics 275.

Courses may consist of a Lecture, Lab, Tutorial, and/or Seminar. Students will be required to register in each component that is required for the course as indicated in the schedule of classes.
