Description

Overview of how the world's energy systems work and why these energy systems are essential to how society functions. Examination of benefits and drawbacks of the sources of energy people use; generation and distribution of electricity; energy efficiency; and environmental consequences of energy choices

Prerequisite(s): Chemistry 30 or Chemistry 212.

Antirequisite(s): Physics 371.

Courses may consist of a Lecture, Lab, Tutorial, and/or Seminar. Students will be required to register in each component that is required for the course as indicated in the schedule of classes.
