Description

Logic gates and digital circuits; Boolean algebra; sequential logic; finite state machines; ladder logic and PLC programming; stability and response of discrete-time systems; the z-transform; digital feedback design via root locus; applications of digital logic and control.

Prerequisite: Mechanical Engineering 461.

Co-requisite(s): Mechanical Engineering 585 or Electrical Engineering 441.
