LAND - Landscape Architecture

Description

Investigates emerging social, cultural, and political theories in landscape architecture, acquainting students with the knowledge and critical thinking concerning conceptual and theoretical frameworks and how they apply to landscape design research and practice. Includes topics such as settler colonialism, decolonial theory and practice, and evolving discourses surrounding Truth and Reconciliation.

Prerequisite(s): Landscape Architecture 600.

Courses may consist of a Lecture, Lab, Tutorial, and/or Seminar. Students will be required to register in each component that is required for the course as indicated in the schedule of classes.
