B.4 Registration in Courses Offered at Different Degree Levels (Graduate vs. Undergraduate)
Senior undergraduate students may register in graduate courses with permission of both their home Faculty and the department offering the course. Undergraduate students are not normally permitted to take courses numbered 700 or above. Open Studies students may register in graduate level courses, provided permission is obtained from the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Graduate tuition rates will apply.
Graduate students may register in undergraduate courses with the permission of their graduate program, and if applicable, the undergraduate program offering the course. Undergraduate tuition rates will be assessed as extra to program. Thesis-based students who are required to take an undergraduate course as part of their graduate program are normally exempt from paying additional tuition fees.
