Description
Application of mathematical techniques to the solution of ordinary and partial differential equations arising in engineering problems. Methods that will be considered are: separation of variables, method of characteristics, transform methods and complex variable methods. Methods for analysis and solution of algebraic equations, including Riccati equations and Diophantine equations.
