Critical study of contemporary topics or issues related to communications media, technology, culture, or discourse. Past topics have included Gaming; Video Activism; Intellectual Property; Surveillance; Photography: A Social History; and Children and Media.

Courses may consist of a Lecture, Lab, Tutorial, and/or Seminar. Students will be required to register in each component that is required for the course as indicated in the schedule of classes.
