Introduction to fundamentals of energy (energy and entropy Balance); heat transfer; combustion. NOx, COx, SOx sources, environmental impacts and remedies; renewable energy (solar, wind, bioenergy, geothermal, hydro) and their environmental impacts; nuclear energy and the environment.
