Description
A study of dramatic literature in English from a wide range of historical periods, social contexts, and national literatures. Through textual analysis and close reading, acquaints students with the characteristic techniques of dramaturgy and basic theatric terminology, giving detailed attention to the formal conventions of literature written to be performed on stage.
