Description
Attacks on networked systems and Internet protocols. Tools and techniques for detection and protection against attacks including firewalls, authentication, and cryptographic protocols. Web security attacks and defenses including same-origin policy, cross site scripting, and UI redressing. Legal and ethical issues will be introduced.
Prerequisite(s): Computer Science 441.
Antirequisite(s): Credit for Computer Science 526 and either 529 or 626 will not be allowed.
