Description

Energy and power production. Sources of energy such as wind power, solar power, nuclear power, geothermal energy, and fossil fuels and their advantages and disadvantages. Generation and distribution of electricity.

Antirequisite(s): Not open for registration for students in the Faculty of Science. Credit for both Physics 371 and Energy Science 201 will not be allowed.

Courses may consist of a Lecture, Lab, Tutorial, and/or Seminar. Students will be required to register in each component that is required for the course as indicated in the schedule of classes.
