Description

Theoretical and applied aspects of aqueous solution chemistry. Topics include: methods for collection and preservation of water samples in the field, laboratory analysis of waters, theory and application of aqueous thermochemical models.

Prerequisite(s): Geology 323.

Antirequisite(s): Credit for both Geology 403 and 503 will not be allowed.

Courses may consist of a Lecture, Lab, Tutorial, and/or Seminar. Students will be required to register in each component that is required for the course as indicated in the schedule of classes.
