Description
Contemporary approaches to selected works of young adult literature. Topics may include the problem novel; dystopian literature; gender and sexuality; diversity in young adult books; banned/controversial books; fan culture; and young adults in the digital age.
Prerequisite(s): 45 units including 3 units of courses labelled English at 300 level or above.
