COMS - Communication and Media Studies

Description

Examines the mutual entanglements of media, communication and the environment, with a particular focus on media representations of the environment and environmental risks. May also examine environmental issues related to communications technologies and global communications infrastructures.

Antirequisite(s): Credit for Communication and Media Studies 485 and 401.46 (Environmental Media) will not be allowed.

Courses may consist of a Lecture, Lab, Tutorial, and/or Seminar. Students will be required to register in each component that is required for the course as indicated in the schedule of classes.
