Description

Nursing roles in oncology are dynamic and expanding, largely based on the growing complexity of oncology care. The variety of oncology nursing roles will be identified and discussed. Key concepts regarding these roles and evidence of the impact of these roles on patient experience and outcomes will be explored.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to Oncology Nursing Certificate.

Courses may consist of a Lecture, Lab, Tutorial, and/or Seminar. Students will be required to register in each component that is required for the course as indicated in the schedule of classes. Practicums, internships or other experiential learning modalities are typically indicated as a Lab component.
