Description

The rise of new states and cultures across the Barbarian West, Byzantium and the Middle East, ca. 400 CE to 1100 CE through objects, texts and spaces.

Antirequisite(s): Credit for History 320 and either 319 or 321 will not be allowed.

Courses may consist of a Lecture, Lab, Tutorial, and/or Seminar. Students will be required to register in each component that is required for the course as indicated in the schedule of classes.
