Description

An introduction to foundational anatomy and physiology. Topics to be covered include general cell physiology and the anatomy and physiology of the skeletal, nervous and muscular systems. Emphasis will be on the integration of body systems to regulate physiological function and homeostasis. Includes laboratory and simulation learning.

Prerequisites: Science 30 or Chemistry 30; and Biology 30; and Mathematics 30-1 or 30-2 or Pure Math 30.

Antirequisite: Credit for Nursing 203 and any of Kinesiology 259, 260, Biology 305, Medical Science 404, Zoology 461 or 463 will not be allowed.

Fee Rate Group(Domestic) - C, Fee Rate Group(International) -A, GFC Hours (3-2)

Courses may consist of a Lecture, Lab, Tutorial, and/or Seminar. Students will be required to register in each component that is required for the course as indicated in the schedule of classes. Practicums, internships or other experiential learning modalities are typically indicated as a Lab component.
