Description

Compiler code generation and optimization techniques, including register allocation, instruction selection, dataflow analysis, and code optimization techniques using intermediate representations. Implementation of special language features and tools for automated code generation.

Notes: Lectures may run concurrently with the first semester of Computer Science 510[CPSC510].

Courses may consist of a Lecture, Lab, Tutorial, and/or Seminar. Students will be required to register in each component that is required for the course as indicated in the schedule of classes.
