4.4 Bachelor of Health Sciences Honours - Admissions


Admission is based both on the admission requirements listed below and the Supplementary Application score.

Applicants must submit both a completed Bachelor of Health Sciences Supplementary Application and a University of Calgary Application for Admission. Students are directed to the online Supplementary Application after the Application for Admission to the Bachelor of Health Sciences program is submitted.


Admission from High School

(a) To be considered for admission applicants must present the admission requirements as outlined in A.5.1.1 Admission Requirements and complete the Online Supplementary Application by the deadlines indicated in A.3 Deadline Dates for Undergraduate Applications for Admission and Supporting Documents.

(b) Admission is competitive. Therefore, meeting the minimum standards as set out in (a) does not guarantee admission.

(c) Applications will only be accepted electronically. The supplementary application is to be submitted online.

(d) All applicants will be informed of their status through the applicant's Student Centre.

(e) It is to the applicant's advantage to apply for admission and submit the supplementary information as early as possible.


Transfer Students

(a) To be considered for admission, applicants must present the admission requirements as outlines in A.5.3.1 Transfer Admission Requirements and complete the Online Supplementary Application by the deadlines indicated in A.3 Deadline Dates for Undergraduate Applications for Admission and Supporting Documents.

Summer Term (Spring/Summer Intersession) courses completed in the year of application will not be considered.

(b) Applications will only be accepted electronically. The supplementary application is to be submitted online.

(c) All applicants will be informed of their status through the applicant's Student Centre.

(d) It is to the applicant's advantage to apply for admission and submit all necessary transcripts, including the supplementary information, as early as possible.
