Students must successfully complete a minimum of 42 units to a maximum of 60 units in Courses Constituting the Field of History while fulfilling the Program Requirements.

6 units in History before 1850
An additional 27 units from Courses Constituting the Field of History
Senior-Level Courses: Inclusive of the courses used to fulfill the above requirements, 36 units from Courses Constituting the Field of History must be at the 300 level or above, of which:
A minimum of 12 units at the 400 level
A minimum of 6 units at the 500 level
A minimum of 18 units at the 300 level or above

Overlapping Programs
Programs in History cannot be taken in conjunction with programs in Ancient and Medieval History. This restriction applies to Major-plus-Minor combinations, Double Majors, Combined Degrees and Second Baccalaureate Degrees.
Note: The combination of an Arts degree with a BEd cannot be completed with Co-operative Education.
