12 units, of which at least 6 units must be at the 400 level or above, from a single one of the three thematic clusters: International Political Economy, Security and Strategy, or International Institutions and Governance (refer to Courses Constituting the Field of International Relations).
12 units, of which at least 6 units must be at the 400 level or above, from a single one of the six regional clusters: North America; Latin America; Europe; Asia/Pacific; Middle East and North Africa; and Africa (refer to Courses Constituting the Field of International Relations).
12 units, either 12 units in a single language other than English or 6 units in each of two languages other than English. It is recommended that students select a language or languages related to their chosen regional cluster.
