General Program Information

The Master of Transdisciplinary Research (MTR) will provide students with the opportunity to pursue innovative research that builds upon knowledge between, across, and beyond traditional disciplines to address societal challenges in collaboration with communities. Students can complete the Master’s in an individualized manner, or they can choose to pursue one of the specializations. They will work under the guidance of a supervisor and co-supervisor (where applicable) who are doing research in their area of interest.

Part-time/Full-time Study

Part-time study is available in the thesis-based degree programs with advanced permission from the Associate Dean, Transdisciplinary Scholarship in consultation with the student’s supervisor(s).
