General Program Information

The PhD in Transdisciplinary Research provides students with the opportunity to pursue innovative research that builds upon knowledge between, across, and beyond traditional disciplines. Students can complete the PhD in an individualized manner, with guidance from a supervisor and co-supervisor (where applicable) who are completing research in their area of interest, or they can choose to pursue one of the specializations. They will work under the guidance of a supervisor and co-supervisor (where applicable) who are completing research in their area of interest.

Part-time/Full-time Study

Part-time study is available in the thesis-based degree programs with advanced permission from the Associate Dean, Transdisciplinary Scholarship in consultation with the student’s proposed supervisor(s).
