General Program Information

The Graduate Certificate in Transdisciplinary Studies I is a 13.5-unit graduate credential comprised of four 3-unit courses in a specialization, combined with a 1.5-unit course on transdisciplinary scholarship. The Certificate is designed to be completed within one year with a maximum completion time of up to two years. This Graduate Certificate enables graduate students with a range of backgrounds to develop meaningful skills and knowledge that can be extended into multiple domains to solve problems, avoid silos, and collaborate with community to address real world issues.

Graduate Certificates in Transdisciplinary I and II serve as stand-alone credentials or may be taken sequentially or concurrently as part of a laddered pathway towards a Master of Transdisciplinary Studies.
