Students in the Faculty of Science are governed by the regulations in this section of the Calendar as well as by the general University regulations in the sections B. Registration to N. Student Communication and Responsibilities found under the heading University Regulations. For the precise interpretation of any statement or regulation, students should feel free to contact the Associate Dean (Undergraduate) of Science. The Dean has delegated responsibility for undergraduate student affairs in the faculty to the Associate Dean (Undergraduate).

The University of Calgary, located in the heart of Southern Alberta, both acknowledges and pays tribute to the traditional territories of the peoples of Treaty 7, which include the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations). On this land and in this place we strive to learn together, walk together, and grow together “in a good way.”
