Admission to the BA in Music

Prospective students wishing to enter any of the programs in the School of Creative and Performing Arts must meet the criteria listed in section A.5 Undergraduate Degree Admission Requirements of this Calendar.

While not required for admission completion of Royal Conservatory Level 8 Theory (formerly Advanced Rudiments) or the Division music theory diagnostic exam is required for registration in certain required music courses. Applicants are strongly encouraged to complete this requirement prior to beginning the BA Music program.
