In addition to Faculty of Graduate Studies requirements, the Faculty of Science requires students to complete 12 units of coursework.
Students must register in the following four courses:
Students must seek approval from the Academic Coordinator to withdraw from, or drop, courses.
Registration in courses extra-to-program requires approval from the Program Director.
Advanced Credit
Advanced Credit will not normally be given for any of the Data Science and Analytics credentials.
Flexible Grade Option (CG Grade)
The Data Science and Analytics Professional Program will allow students to pursue the Flexible Grade Option (CG Grade).
The use of the CG grade will affect students’ eligibility for internal awards.
Time Limit
The expected completion time for the Graduate Certificate in Fundamental Data Science and Analytics is four months. The maximum completion time for the Certificate is two years from the start of the program.
Part-time registration can delay program progression and completion as not all courses are offered in each semester.
