In addition to Faculty of Graduate Studies requirements, the Faculty of Science requires students to complete 30 units.
Students must register in the following courses:
Students must seek approval from the Academic Coordinator to withdraw from, or drop, courses.
Registration in courses extra-to-program requires approval from the Program Director.
Advanced Credit
Advanced credit will not normally be given for the MISP program.
Flexible Grade Option (CG Grade)
The Information Security Professional Program will allow students to pursue the Flexible Grade Option (CG Grade).
The use of the CG grade will not affect students' eligibility for internal awards.
Credit for Undergraduate Courses
Credit will not normally be granted for undergraduate courses.
Time Limit
The expected completion time for the full-time Master of Information Security and Privacy is 12 months. The maximum completion time is six years from the start of the program.
The Information and Security and Privacy program does not provide scholarships; however financial Assistance may be available to eligible students through alternative sources. For information on awards, see the Awards and Financial Assistance section.
